A reputed education services company is looking for an Operations Manager to join their Music Academy Team. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of music services across a network of schools and out of hours music services. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting administrative staff, managing relationships with schools, parents, external partners, and suppliers, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and passionate about operational excellence. An interest in music is a bonus and will be valued in contributing to the culture and ethos of the Academy.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the smooth running of music services across multiple school sites.
* Monitor and optimise scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for music teachers and programmes.
* Oversee the coordination of after-school and weekend music programmes, including satellite and elite academies.
* Act as a key point of contact for schools, parents, venues, and external partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with school leadership teams and music departments.
* Respond to parent queries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
* Provide leadership and operational support to the administrative team.
* Coordinate with Music TAs and teaching staff to ensure seamless delivery of lessons and events.
* Support onboarding and induction processes for new staff.
* Manage procurement requests and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of resources.
* Oversee budget tracking, invoicing, and payment processes in collaboration with the finance team.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Support the implementation and use of CRM systems (e.g., Okrabooks) for bookings, payments, and communications.
* Ensure accurate data management and reporting across all operational areas.
* Contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in operations or administration, ideally within education, performing arts, or service delivery.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across diverse teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Desirable –
* Interest or background in music or performing arts.
* Experience working in a school or multi-site environment.
* Familiarity with safeguarding and compliance procedures.
