We are looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Finance Assistant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in accounting and gain valuable experience within a supportive business environment. The Finance Assistant will provide essential administrative and accounting support, ensuring the smooth operation of daily financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process purchase invoices, expense claims, and credit card statements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare sales invoices and reconcile customer accounts.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Support the preparation of payment runs for suppliers.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems (both physical and electronic).
• Assist in the preparation of month-end procedures, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
• Respond to internal and external finance queries efficiently and professionally.
• Support the wider finance team with data entry, reporting, and ad-hoc administrative tasks.
• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with audit preparations by gathering required documentation.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:
• Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., AAT Foundation/Intermediate level).
• Some previous experience in an administrative or office-based role, preferably within a finance department, is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (basic formulas, data entry).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) would be advantageous.

Salary:
USD 1,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
